What isn’t covered in the manufacturer’s warranty?
When it comes to warranties most people don't know whats covered and what's not! Here at Pioneer Credit Center we want to tell you what a few of the warranties cover and what they don't!
"Bumper to bumper" policies are a manufacturer’s warranty that covers specific components of your vehicle such as air conditioning, fuel systems, major electrical parts, and on-board audio. These policies exclude items like oil changes and fluid top ups, and are generally are the first type of vehicle warranty to expire.
Power train warranties usually cover your vehicle for about 10 years or up to 100,000 miles, but they won't cover all of the issues your vehicle may have. Power train warranties cover engine and transmission issues along with the drive shaft and joints, but will not cover tune ups or tire rotations.
Most of parts of your car aren't covered by the manufacturers warranty but may be covered by their own brand warranty or a dealership warranty.
